Our Mission:
To provide a window of opportunity to support the volunteer fire service organizations, and all member firefighters within the sixteen counties comprising the Hudson Valley Volunteer Fire Association and the public they serve.

To provide a window of opportunity for the HVVFA and the association newspaper to keep the membership informed.

To provide a window of opportunity for training and educational seminars which will be a basis for member fire department participation.

To provide a window of opportunity to keep legislators and the public informed of pending legislation that is in our best interest.

To support the programs of The Firemen's Association of the State of New York, including offering our members in leadership rolls as officers, committee chairman, and committee members.

To provide a window of opportunity for presenting information in the FASNY Volunteer Firefighter monthly magazine.

We accomplish this MISSION by working with the leadership in all local, county, state and federal organizations supporting the volunteer fire service.
