137 Annual Convention Important Informational Notice/Update from Convention Committee

The Lake George Convention Committee has made many changes to the “normal operations” for this year’s convention. One of those changes was the high use of social media and electronic communications. We are again reaching out electronically, to communicate to all of our confirmed parade participants in Lake George for the Hudson Valley Convention. Both parade lineups had been posted on multiple social media sites and can be reviewed.
The parade rules and the lineup have been electronically transmitted to the contact person that we have on file from the original applications. In addition to the two parade documents, the Parade Announcer’s information that was submitted with the original application is being sent back for any updates or changes. We understand that time has moved on since the application was submitted and the annual election has been held by most fire companies. It is vital that you review and update any information that you wish our parade announcers to use as you approach the reviewing stand.
The local committee will not be inserting any additional information into the announcer book this year. If you have any changes, please submit them as soon as possible. Will we putting the announcement book together in the coming weeks and what you have submitted will be reviewed and used to welcome your group to the reviewing stand.
A final note to any company that missed the deadline for applications or simply changed your mind about attending; there is still time. One of the great things about this event, or any other parade, “THERE IS ALWAYS ROOM AT THE END”. If you would like to participate, please let us know and we will have room at the end of the fourth division or you.
